WHO WE ARE

HRSJM is a Democratic regional network with a large membership base of people committed to addressing Human Rights Issues at both National and Regional levels. HRSJM Aims at fostering the concept of multiple states identities by enabling people to realize their ideals and aspirations for Peace, Democracy, Secularism AND Human Security. While promoting pluralism in approaches towards Social, Political, Economic and Cultural development of different communities, Ethnic, Linguistic, Religious and other groups.

WHAT WE DO

HRSJM seeks to contribute to the realization of Indian peoples’ Right to participatory Democracy, Good governance and Justice by strengthening regional response, including regional instruments, Monitoring Human Rights Violations, Reviewing Laws, Policies and Practices that have an adverse impact on Human Rights and conducting Campaigns and Programs on issues of major concern in the region.

HRSJM’s basic policy is to identify the gaps in regional initiatives and to undertake activities which do not duplicate the work carried out by other regional or national NG0s. Its strength and legitimacy comes from its democratic structure and broad-based membership of recognized Human Rights defenders in the region.

We balance the day-to-day needs of our society with long term strategy and vision. Our programs are guided by society needs and demands. We respond to those needs through direct service-hands on Trainings and Conferences, Society Organizing and Base Building, Advocacy and Leadership development. In all of our work, we embrace a Social Justice Vision Bound in Dignity and Equity for All, with the active participation of our Units, Members & Activists. We actively prioritize leadership of Marginalized Groups, including Women and Youths, within the Indian.

The main purpose to initiate this mission is to change the hatred environment into love, peace & harmony, thus; this movement works beyond any boundaries, restrictions & limitations that can lead to any anti-human actions nor it encourages any anti-human sentiments regardless of the Race, Creed, Religion, Region status, Social status, Beliefs, Political & Religious concepts, National Interest theories & Nationalism, Experiments, Colour & Culture.

Practically, every human being who lives on this Nation is a member of this mission and can work for it in order to make things better for the entire world. I welcome you all to join and participate in the activities that can support this wise and much needed cause to have an ideal country where all humans can live in peace & harmony, by loving each other, by taking care of each other, by supporting each other in a need, by raising the awareness among all of us, by helping the needy, and the key to achieve all the above is the “Tolerance”.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

  1. To provide the opportunity for citizen of India to move forward in every step of life in the favor of Humanity and Dignity.
  2. To make efforts for the restoration of extra curriculum activities, sports and to create and foster community sense.
  3. Establishment of Schools and Health Centers, to adopt, approves and prescribes curriculum education by gathering the students of different levels.
  4. The thirst of youth and the fact that the every citizens of India, are lacking awareness, Education, Economic Opportunity, Infrastructure, Good Governance and basic health facilities that are some of the contributing factors towards political integration and social change. Therefore people of India need to come together with Human Rights & Social Justice.
  5. To stop and prevent Human trafficking and slavery by increasing law enforcement- capacity and public awareness.
  6. To organize the awareness program and provide legal assistance & protection, for the subject of Human Rights, Civil Rights, Fundamental Rights, Consumer Rights, Minorities Rights, Women Rights, Senior Citizen’s Rights, Education Rights, Labor Rights and all those Rights provided by Indian constitution and act as an via-media between the downtrodden oppressed people by representing the people to whom Injustice is meted out and also to provide them justice by approaching various concerned authorities / departments.
  7. The organization will work within the frame work of safe guarding on the basis of Universal Declaration of Human Rights from the Article 1 to Article 30 on overview of the Principle Rights, Freedom, Social Justice and civil liberties that are every person’s Birth Right.
  8. To work for ensuring that Basic Human Rights, Social Justice and Civil Liberties are respected everywhere.
  9. To co-operate to avoid compromising on Human Rights for economic or political expediency and also to restrict co-operation with governing regimes that violate human rights and civil liberties.
  10. To bring diplomatic and commercial pressure on regimes that violates Human Rights, Social Justice and civil liberties, to ensure that they respect the basic rights of Indian citizens.
  11. To train the young men and women for facing the challenges of the pluralistic society and the rising conflicts and tension in the name of particular loyalties to Caste, Religion, Region, Colour, and Culture.
  12. To establish units at Village (ward) / Taluka / District / State level in All Over India and to provide facility for Justice against Injustice, as well as To effectively work for reducing gender Inequalities, Exploitations and Injustices.
  13. To uphold and promote by peaceful means Civil Liberties and the Democratic way of life throughout India, to secure recognition to the principle of dignity of the individual.
  14. To promote the activity of right to information (RTI) and undertake legal and social programmers events and seminars promoting the social harmony.
  15. To provide every help and support to eradicate Child Labor, Violence against Child, Women and Senior Citizen i.e. Social, Physical, Sexual and also refrain from Dowry and Slavery system and also help to those persons who approaches the organization.
  16. All positive steps to preventive measures to make India a Non-Corruption country in the world so that encourage for Fight Against Corruption.
  17. To promote & educate Equality as well as Equity, International Integration, Brotherhood, Non- Violence, Love, Peace, Justice, Protection and Promotion of Human Rights, Social Justice and Civil Liberties.
  18. To create an environment as well as an understanding that human rights can easily become vulnerable to abuse of various structures and processes of power and to examine the inter- dependence of and linkage between Human Rights and Democracy, Pluralism, Development, Ecological balance, Peace and Harmony at the National and International levels.
  19. To support, protect and uphold the status, Interest, Prestige and Dignity of People and to secure for them just Rights, Privileges and Status.
  20. To provide awareness to Farmers / Gardeners , etc. by establishing Counseling Centers for providing training, knowledge & information of Farming , Husbandry, Cattle Birds and Animals similarly plantation , farming materials and there information’s to be provide by experts of those field.
  21. To establish the counseling centers & to provide every help and support to eradicate domestic violence and try to solve the family dispute matters.
  22. To spread awareness about Protection of Environments and Population Control, and to Promote / Solve the Cause of Health Care, Food Problem, Housing / Shelter Problems & Redevelopment / Rehabilitation’s Problems, Humanitarian Relief / Refugees / Indigenous People’s Problem, as well as to help Disabled, Children, Youth, Widows, AIDS Patients, Ageing People, Drug Addicts, HIV Victims.
  23. To publish books, monthly / yearly magazine, encyclopedias, monographs, journals and directories on Human Rights and study and prepare reports on the violation, etc.

To educate the society about the concept of rights in the frame of Constitution of India that is;

  1. CIVIL AND POLITICAL RIGHTS: Right to Life, Liberty, Free Speech, Movement, and Political thought, Religious practice, Fair Trial, Privacy, to raise a Family, to Vote.
  2. ECONOMIC, SOCIAL & CULTURAL RIGHTS: Adequate Food and Water, Health Care, Education, Clean Environment, Respect for Cultural Practices, Welfare Assistance.
  3. HUMANITARIAN RIGHTS: Rights of those who are affected by armed conflict, prisoners of war, wounded, women and children; for necessary care and treatment.
  4. RIGHTS OF CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE: Worker’s Rights, Women’s Rights, Children’s Rights, Minority groups, Refugees, Disabled.
