Healthcare Inequality – A Threat to Human Rights in India

Access to healthcare is a basic human right, yet India struggles with stark disparities in its healthcare system. Rural areas face a shortage of doctors and facilities, while urban centers grapple with overcrowded hospitals. The COVID-19 pandemic further exposed the vulnerabilities of the system.

Patients from economically weaker sections often cannot afford treatment, and women, children, and the elderly remain the most vulnerable. The Human Rights and Social Justice Mission emphasizes the need for equitable healthcare access by organizing health camps, distributing medical aid, and advocating for policy changes.

Healthcare is not a privilege but a right. Together, we can ensure that everyone receives the care they deserve.
