On October 2, 2024, in observance of Gandhi Jayanti, V. Pulla Rao Somaiah Velpula, Deputy Chief Secretary of the Andhra Pradesh State Unit of the “Human Rights & Social Justice Mission,” led a charitable initiative at an old age home in Mangal Village, Nandigama, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh. The team distributed free sarees, lungis, and blankets to 50 residents, embodying Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of compassion and service to humanity.
