On the occasion of World Human Rights Day, December 10, Mr. Sakthivel Bakthavachalam, Social Welfare Secretary of Tiruvannamalai District, celebrated the day by honoring sanitation workers at Puliyampatti Village, Tiruvannamalai District.
Through this meaningful initiative, he highlighted the values of human dignity, equality, and social justice, demonstrating deep respect for the human rights of sanitation workers and people from marginalized communities. As a mark of appreciation and recognition, shawls, sarees, and gifts were distributed to the sanitation workers.
Several prominent villagers actively participated in the program, extending their support and solidarity for the cause of human rights and social equality.
