The Human Rights and Social Justice Mission (HRSJM) strongly urges the Central Government and the State Government to take all necessary and effective measures to ensure the safety, security, and fundamental rights of every citizen in Manipur.
At this critical juncture, HRSJM also makes a sincere and respectful appeal to the leaders and members of both the Meitei community and the Kuki-Zo tribal community to come forward for peaceful dialogue. We request both sides to sit together with patience, wisdom, and mutual respect, and arrive at constructive solutions in the larger interest of Manipur and its people.
Your understanding, restraint, and leadership can play a decisive role in restoring lasting peace in the region. The need of the hour is unity, not division. Let us all stand together with the spirit of “Be United for Manipur.”
Furthermore, we appeal to all citizens:
. Do not take the law into your own hands.
. Do not support or participate in any unlawful activities.
. Do not engage in or encourage attacks on security forces.
Security forces are deployed for your protection, to maintain peace, and to restore normalcy. Cooperation with them is essential for stability and harmony.
HRSJM remains committed to promoting peace, justice, and human dignity across the nation.
